Waist not stretchy enough

Ordered these for our 3-yr old. He's a little short, and solidly built, but definitely not chubby. The 4T were plenty long, as expected, but the waist was too snug. I interpreted 'adjustable waist' as stretchy waist like most toddler pants. But the waist is all canvas, with a stretchy internal 'belt' so you can make it fit tighter. But at its loosest, it was still too tight for him. It would be nice if there were more pictures showing the waistline, because I wouldn't have ordered them if I'd seen how it's actually designed. Otherwise, it's your standard sturdy carhartt pant.

Short legs long legs

Legs a little long for 18 months but they role up nice and maybe the boy short legs for all thus grandpa knows! They have already saved him a lot of knee skin. Happy that we also but 24 month pants.
