I love these soft shell jackets. This is my second one (first lasted forever) and quality is just as good as the last. It will provide good protection in light rain. The cut is a little different than my previous, being "relaxed fit". I'm 5'8" 185 lbs and I went with the large and it fits great (if its loose fit I order medium, relaxed fit large). Perfect weight I can wear most fall, winter and spring days here in the northeast.

Super nice lightweight (spring & fall) Jacket

Carhartt quality as expected. luckily I read the reviews first, and listened to their advice and ordered a size up, because I know I'm a weird size and Carhart clothing (usually) doesn't fit me good because I'm short and fat. To put in perspective I am 5'5" 170lbs with a beer gut, and I usually wear medium Carhartt jackets and hoodies but this style Jacket I tried on at the store, and the medium was a little tight. Ordered a Large straight from Carhartt website and it fits perfectly. I still have plenty of room to move around even with a hoodie underneath it. Nice waterproof material. I almost got a black one but decided to get Navy blue and I'm glad I did. looks really nice. Its lightweight, and warm but not too warm. Perfect for spring and fall when the weather and temperature changes constantly. Here in Northern Michigan in the springtime, it can be 30 degrees at 7am and 60 degrees at noon. lots of big pockets. One thing I thought was strange is, on the the inner left side of the jacket it has a weird pass through pocket (picture below) which I'm not sure what the purpose is for it. As far as shipping time, its pretty decent. Took about a week to get it in the mail from UPS. think the tracking said it came from Lexington Kentucky. overall I'm a pretty happy camper.

Great jacket. Perfect L sizing for me being 5'11" and 180lbs. The shell is very few wind resistant and water repellant. And it seems it will be very durable in the normal Carhartt standards.
