    My first purchase

Jacket fits perfect. Definitely warm for as thin as it is. Plenty of zipped pockets.

I absolutely love my new jacket. It's lightweight yet warm and comfortable and has lots of pockets. This particular style with the Carhartt logo is the one I really like. I'm 5'5" 135 lbs and I ordered a men's small because this particular jacket doesn't come in women's. I've washed it once and came out very nice. I'll be enjoying this jacket for years to come. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent insulated jacket, been waiting for Carhartt to make something like this for years. Warm, light, flexible, and not too bulky. Similar to synthetic insulated hoody's you find from outdoor companies like Patagonia, Arc'teryx, etc... but with a slightly thicker outer layer and more reasonable price tag. can be used as a mid or outer layer. It won't be the most durable outer layer, but durable outer layers or heavy and restricting, this is not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great jacket. I bought it for my dad for his birthday and he loves it.

I got this jacket for daily use and work. I work outside sometimes and wanted something light. I have used this jacket. I would say this, 30 degrees and above, this jacket is good. Now with wind chill, this jacket doesn't hold heat well and you will be cold instantly. Even with a sweater underneath. Now if I am doing some work outside, moving around raising my heart rate, this jacket will be ideal. Even with the wind chill. If I had the choice to go back and knowing this, I would not have purchased this jacket.

A very nice warm jacket, but the word "Rugged" should not be in the description. I kept it because it was on a good sale and a nice jacket that fit well and has good motion, but definitely NOT Rugged.

I love this jacket so much. It fits better than anything I've tried, and it has amazing mobility so I can barely tell I'm wearing a jacket. And it's very warm. Maybe a little too warm if I'm nit picking, but they do rate it a level 3 warmest. My main complaint is durability. I've only had it for 3-4 weeks and it's already showing wear. It makes me so sad. I don't think it's a defect either, I think it's just the jacket. I'm not hard on my jackets but I shouldn't have to baby something like this either. I really wish they made the shell thicker and somehow made the stitching more robust. I don't think many Carhartt shoppers care if the jacket is 3 grams heavier. I want to simultaneously give this jacket 5 stars and 1 star. I'm really disappointed but it's such a great jacket. I wanted this to be a good daily jacket, maybe that's not what it's intended to be?

Loved everything about this jacket but the length. It would be perfect if it came in tall sizes. It was flexible, lightweight, and the material felt durable. I travel a lot for work, so I also wanted this to work because it is packable. Again, just to short for tall folks.
