Product Details

This heavyweight, hooded sweatshirt has a zip front for fast layering. It's made of 13-ounce, 80% cotton and 20% polyester fabric and has a Rain Defender durable water-repellent finish. It's designed with spandex-reinforced rib-knit cuffs and waistband to keep the cold out. There's an attached three-piece jersey-lined hood with draw cord, two front hand-warmer pockets, and an antique-brass front zipper. The right pocket has a security pocket sized for a cell phone. The Carhartt logo is embroidered on the front left pocket.

Blown Away

I spend a LOT of time outdoors working on my property. Recently it's been in the single digits with 20 mph winds. I worn my Paxton Jacket as a layer with the intention of also wearing an outer jacket. The Paxton Jacket was so warm and wind resistant that I didn't realize I started working without my outer jacket on. It wasn't until I took off in my quad that I realized I was missing my outer layer. I decided to keep going and test the new jacket. I work for a couple of hours and stayed comfortable. I was really impressed. I've since repeated this scenario a couple more times and can't say enough about the fit, comfort and value of this jacket.
