From Carhartt, these cotton duck overalls perform well and provide a good fit. They have adjustable suspenders with front elastic for flexibility as you move. For added comfort, stretch side gussets fit close to the body at waist level. These overalls have chap-style front legs and kick panels. Built for strength and durability, the overalls feature triple-stitched main seams with metal rivets placed at typical stress points.

The fit is as expected. I order them short so the cuffs stay out of the mud and snow. What I really don't like is that the elastic used on the straps varies in quality, ranging from a high rating of tough, durable, and holding adjustment, to a low rating of lightweight, stretched-out from factory, and never holding adjustment. The pair I ordered most recently is the lousy lightweight elastic that never holds its adjustment. It's annoying to need to cinch up the straps every 30 minutes over the course of a work day.

I'm more of an old school person. I don't really like the newer design of the bib. More specific the feel of them and the exposed buttons. I usually wear shorts under mine and noticed the full leg zipper is cold against my legs. I also miss the soft feel of the pre wash version you used to sell.
