I was concerned that the waist would be too tight so I called Carhart. They assured me the jeans would loosen up an take a closer fit by just wearing them. I decided to give it a try and Success! I am very pleased with the fit and comfort.

I use these pants on a daily basis in the winter and have no problem staying warm while working outside. I always go one waist size up on Carhartt pants just for the comfort while climbing and bending to perform job tasks.
