Stay warm and protected when you're working outdoors in Carhartt's insulated coat. It has a soft and cozy Sherpa body lining and quilted nylon in the sleeves. Pleated elbows improve moving room and the bi-swing pleated back prevents constriction during extended arm movement. Inside storm cuffs stop cold and debris from getting up your sleeves. This coat has an attached Sherpa-lined hood for warming your head and ears during a cold snap.

Runs a little bit big possibly

Obviously it's a quality jacket coming from Carhartt. I normally wear an XL but this feels a bit roomy, wondering if a size L might be a better fit. That's my only comment, runs a little bigger than I expected so might be worth checking the fit before buying. Otherwise, great jacket and I'm sure it will last a good long time.

Jacket is the perfect work jacket, tough, fits true to size, perfect for late winter early spring warmth, haven’t even washed yet and it’s canvas strength but still soft to work in, great pocket placement. Sherpa lining is the best.

Great jacket! Warm in cold weather and loose enough to put a layer such as a hoodie underneath.
I like that the waist does not have a rib knit, allowing air to circulate underneath and preventing you from becoming overheated. I'm 6 ft and 190 lbs and I chose to go with the large in black. This is a very durable jacket in all aspects but more like a hard working coat that will last you a lifetime. Excellent value for the price!

Love it! Fits great! Very warm, the sherpa lining is warm and cozy. I love how it fits and looks! Quality is great. Several pockets. The lined hood is very warm too. Best coat I ever had!

Excellent replacement for 141-029

I bought this jacket for my bf to replace his well-worn, well-loved (well-ripped up) J141-029 circa 2015, which they no longer make. This is apparently the equivalent - while a slight bit different in the details (like larger pockets, slightly different stitching, cuffs, etc.), he's very happy with the fit and feel of it. PHEW! I thought we were SOL when I learned the original was discontinued!

Exactly what I wanted

I have been wanting a Carhartt coat for some time now and finally purchased one. I love the look and feel of it, seems to be very well made and should last a long time. I have worn it a few times and have no complaints so far other than the black attracts a lot of hair and fibers so should have went with grey instead.
