Casual well-made Carhartt jacket

Ordered a Medium. The relaxed fit is perfect for me. I’m 5’5” 130lbs and have slightly wider than standard hips for size medium, which has always been hard for me to find good fit…but this jacket works! It weighs more than your typical winter coat because of the fabric. No worries there. Very happy with purchase.

Yes, I recommend this product.

nice jacket, the only problem is the sleeves a little bit narrow.

My new favorite jacket

I love this jacket. It’s got lots of different pockets. Well made with comfy Sherpa at the collar and removable hood. It’s warm and useful for many different weather conditions. I also like the side slits to make it possible to wear horse riding. The jackets is long enough to cover my bottom as well. This is not my first Carhartt piece of clothing as I like the swing jacket for more physical activities and work. It is shorter in length and has the Sherpa down the back to keep warm but this one is very smartly made!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I ordered a XS as these coats are made loose. Fits as it should.

It's a great coat.

I am really enjoying my new coat. It is very comfortable and warm, and I love the style and removable hood. The only thing that would improve it, in my opinion, is if there was a pull cord on the inside at the waist so that it could be snugged up to prevent the cold air from coming in from underneath a little better. I'm sure I'll be using it for several winters to come.

Best barn jacket

Absolutely love this jacket! I live on a hobby farm in northern Michigan and it's perfect for our tough winter weather! The button holes were a little stiff in the beginning but have loosened up after a week. It also has a heavy duty zipper if you don't want to use the buttons.

Not impressed.

Sorry, I dont like the fit at all. I got a large and it is snug, the pockets are to high, just not comfortable. I am not a large person, 5'3, 140 lbs, glad i didn't order a medium though, your coats run small. I will probably give it away or donate it.

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Is it rated for -50C winter?

1 Answer
  • A: Hello! Carhartt does not provide a temperature rating, as its very dependant on circumstance (activity level, metabolism, environment etc. ) to help provide a guage, Carhartt rates their winter garments into 4 warmth levels, Where level 4 is the warmest rated. This Jaket rates as a level 2 on their scale, I would not recomend it for the extreme -50 cold that you are asking about.
