Built to last, this Carhartt women’s active jacket is made with a rugged 12-ounce ringspun cotton duck fabric that withstands daily wear and tear. Thinsulate™ insulation has been quilted onto the inside for lightweight and bulk-free warmth. Triple stitching on the main seams provides enhanced durability, while elbow pleats allow for greater ease of movement. The sleeve hems have been reinforced with Cordura® for extra strength, while inner rib-knit storm cuffs help to keep cold drafts and rain on the outside.

Best In-Between Weather Jacket

Well made, great fit, perfect for the "between" seasons (between winter and spring, fall and winter) in the Midwest. I think it could benefit from being just a touch longer at the waist, but overall a great jacket.

Great Jacket. Definitely warm. I don't need to have a second layer to go outside during winter. Great for company logo embroidering. Had an issue with a couple zipper teeth after 1.5 winters of wear, Carhartt fixed zipper. Will buy from Carhartt again.

I'm 5'9", 113lbs. I ordered a small. Fits perfect, great quality, roomy enough to add a sweater under it if needed. I love the multiple pockets.

Very well made jacket. It is a rugged jacket, so it'll take time for it to break in. I'm 5'0", and weight 140 pounds, and ordered a large, because I wanted to be able to wear a sweatshirt underneath. It was snug. Tee shirts fit fine, but if you want to wear a sweatshirt underneath, or heavy sweater, I would definitely go up one size. I'm on the fence whether to return it or not. My order didn't come in a box, just a soft package, without a packing slip, or a reason to return form, or a return label, so I have to weigh my options of what I want to do.

I bought the jacket in preparation for a February trip to Montana. I could not have been more pleased. It kept me warm and the outer material is top notch at blocking the wind. The fit is good and the drawstring on the hood holds in place well.

It's very warm and has lots of pockets. The fit is perfect and I am able to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath without feeling uncomfortable. I definitely recommend it if you are in need of a warm jacket for winter.
