These Men's Control Composite Toe, Composite Plate waterproof work boots from CATERPILLAR will keep your feet dry and warm throughout the day. Constructed with full grain waterproof leather uppers and waterproof membranes, they offer protection during wet weather and moisture-prone work sites. The EVA insoles are removable in favour of orthortics and 200gr Thinsulate insulation provides lightweight warmth. Added safety is ensured with slip-resistant rubber outsoles, composition toes and plates, and CSA Omega electric shock resistance. These lace-up workboots include quick-tie clasps on the upper portion and rear pull tabs for easy on-off.

Great work boots.

Great boots. They lasted for about a year before the soles started to give out or fall off, so I always keep an extra pair ready. I have to wear them every day for work, and sometimes at home when I'm working around the yard. I have been wearing this brand for many years.

Roofer here - two weeks in, the rubber on the toes has completely worn off, exposing material that hardly even looks like steel. Going through multiple pairs through the years, this is a first, and I'm borderline ashamed to show up on site with those horrible safety hazards. Showing up in mismatched socks would probably be funnier than that.
On top of that, the laces have already begun wearing out. Normally, I wouldn't make a big deal out of it since higher quality replacements are readily available just about anywhere, but for 250$, a kick in the n*ts would be less insulting. Laces can't be t h a t important, right?
The color's kinda neat, I guess.

Very poor sole design, slippery in the winter

The sole on this pair is extremely hard and slippery. I’ve had quite a few falls on icy surfaces unlike the grip on a few others that I’ve owned in the past. Given that the boots are marketed for use in the winter with features to keep your feet warm, emphasis should’ve been given on designing a better sole. I’ve had to buy a new pair in spite of this one being in perfect condition because of the near misses I’ve had.

uncomfortable because of the inside seam

The boots are horrible since the seam on the inside of the shoe is a shame, I put 2 insoles to try to fix it but it is just as annoying when walking

I had to exchange,was very uncomfortable.. Got the timberland pro instead. Very comfortable.. But unfortunately not suitable for my line of work iron making..

Comfortable boots but very slippery work boot in the winter the bottom sole gets hard like a rock unlike the timberlands I'm used to
