Lite and comfortable shoes. Only negative is the lack of slip on support around the heel, shoe heel area folds in when trying to slip shoes on.

I bought these thinking they would be at least similar to a pair of Clark’s Gorwin shoes I bought 10 years ago. Not at all. Whereas my original pair fit like a glove from the first time I put them on, this pair (although the same size as the original) were so narrow and unyielding that it was impossible to even get my feet in them. A shame I had to return them as I’d gotten them at a decent price. There’s something to be said for in-store shopping.

So good I bought two pairs

I road-tested these Gorwin Slip-on's on a full-month walking tour in Japan ... took a couple days to break them in, then they just kept getting more and more comfortable. The long search for the perfect slip-on walking shoe is over. Note: my normal size is 10, but these fit me best in an 11.
