Just right for spring/fall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I needed for my 6-year-old. Lighter than his winter coat but stands up to chilly spring temps, wind and rain. Soft lining in the hood and body, but not in the sleeves, so it's easy to slip on and off. Cuffs aren't too tight (always a big complaint from my son).

Warm and dry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. He was happy to see that it is a warm raincoat. Fit great and he is wearing it to school daily. Would be great for a chilly hike as well.

Sleeves not fleece lined like the old version

I have an older version of this jacket and the sleeves were lined. It was perfect lightweight jacket. My son outgrew it so this is the new version, and I was so disappointed that the fleece lining is only on the inside and not in the sleeves! So your arms will feel cold. I think it’s so stupid they didn’t line the sleeves and it feels like Columbia is cutting corners.

Sleeves too long

Nice material and good fit EXCEPT the sleeves are way too long for my 6 year old. I ordered the size according to his weight/height but we have to get it altered as the sleeves are cumbersome and interfere in his playing. Have not had this problem with other jackets.

Not waterproof

I purchased two of these jackets for my son to wear to outdoor preschool. This jacket is NOT at all waterproof, the water does not bead at the surface it is absorbed by the fabric. It is suitable for a walk from the car to the store in the rain, but not for any longer outdoor activity.
No, I do not recommend this product.

NOT WATERPROOF

Very poor quality. Not waterproof at all. Got it to play at recess in the PNW and it's soaking wet all the way through after 30 minutes.
