[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed one light jacket for a trip to that would meet the needs of one trip into Europe and Kenya safari. Expected cool mornings and evenings and potentially light rain. This jacket worked great especially and layered well when weather got very cold (low 40F's). We did experience light rain and I kept warm and dry. Trip over and this will be a regular jacket at home.

This is a great jacket, well made with good materials, a bit on the warmer side so it's great for mid to late Fall and early Spring, looks great, very comfortable, I would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this plain black soft-shell jacket because, frankly, I am a plain and practical human being. This isn’t the kind of jacket you wear to turn heads or make a fashion statement. No one will stop you on the street and ask, “Wow, where did you get that?” In fact, if someone does notice, it will only be because you’ve successfully blended into a crowd like an extra in a spy movie. And that’s the beauty of it: this is a dull person’s coat, and I am exactly that person. It’s not flashy, it doesn’t sparkle, it doesn’t have a logo the size of a billboard. What it does have is functionality. It keeps me warm, blocks the wind, and gives me the quiet satisfaction of knowing that, while others are looking cooler with trendy zippers and neon trim, I’ve chosen the jacket equivalent of oatmeal—reliable, unpretentious, and guaranteed not to upset anyone. So, if you’re looking for fashion, move along. But if you want to join me in the understated brotherhood of the sensibly dressed, this soft-shell jacket is your ticket. Dull? Absolutely. Functional? Without a doubt. Regret it? Not for a second.
