Great traction and lightweight

These boots are warm, very light weight, and the men's have a better toe width than the women's boots I tried on. They also provide great traction. As an older person, I haven't slipped once in the recent icy conditions. After buying them, I also purchased them for my husband and daughter. They were rather expensive, however, I expect to get several years of wear from them.

Extra Warm Boot, hasn't let me down yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boot fits true to size and is very warm. Recently i was snow tubing for several hours and not once did my feet feel wet or cold. First boot I ever had that fully kept my feet warm for long periods.

Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots are a piece of art, i wear a size 9.5 but nearly every review recommended a 1.5-2 sizes up because they ran small, i recommend they realize their feet got bigger as they aged because im have to send mine back. In reality, the most you can go up is about .5 size up to make up for the 400g of insulation this boot has. I will be sending mine back for a size 10. 10 out of 10 in comfort, construction, insulation

Fit, Tech & Function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Columbia knocked this one out of the park with the subject line. Fit is spot on, coupled with "going to the moon technology" that keeps my feet toasty warm. If a company cannot do these two things, there is a major problem. Further, take the boot out in wet or snowy and freezing temps for a lap with the mut or traversing a mountain and you have perhaps C's finest effort. Well done Columbia and many thanks to your engineers for putting tech with function.

Great boots that don't feel clumsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered these before a trip to Tromso, Norway. First of all, I ordered two sizes (10.5 and 11); I wasn't sure what the sizing was like and wanted to make sure I had the right size. After wearing them both for a considerable amount of time around the house, I decided to go with the bigger size. The smaller pair fit, but left little room for my feet to breathe. While in Norway, I put about 40 miles on the boots. The weather was wet and snowy with temps typically around 0-5 degrees Fahrenheit. They kept my feet warm and dry and were quite stable in slippery conditions. I had only one experience where my feet froze. We were on a boat in some harsh conditions. My toes were frozen! I think it was mostly due to them being warm and becoming damp. Then with lack of movement around the boat, my feet were able to become cold. Overall, I've been very happy with this purchase and have easily put an additional 20 miles on them. I would definitely recommend them. Possibly buy a half size larger than you normally where for typical shoes.

Streamline process

Everything is great the only concern I have is that, there is a difference in sizing. I have a different shoe which is also Columbia and size is 9 but when I bought the above I got the same size but it was a bit tight totally different from what I have. I tried to have it replaced but their process is way to complicated.

ALternative for women with wide feet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like these boots. I have yet to try them out but I have a hard time finding winter, waterproof boots that fit. I am a women with wide (D) feet, so women's wide is usually a C and too tight. These boots feel strudy and supportive. Materials feel nice and seem durable.
