Nice shoe; Shame About the Space!

Overall a nice shoe, but it didn't (barely) fit. I have been buying Columbia shoes for hiking, walking and travel almost exclusively for 10 or so years, as they almost always fit well and are comfortable. This pair suffers from being both too narrow and shallow in the toe box, resulting in pinching and pressure on my outer toes. I hope this is not a trend in Columbia's overall shoe design.

These shoes unfortunately made my Achille heels inflamed, I stopped using them to avoid Achille tendinitis. The heel collar of the shoe is too rigid, and this is the same with all low Columbia shoes models, I don't recommend this shoe for daily walk neither for running weekly, it is just good to hike once in a while in the woods when it rains cause waterproofing is good.

    Comfortable & waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hiked Savage Alpine Trail in Denali in a pair of the shoes in May. 10% of the trail was covered by snow, and 90% was muddy. It felt very comfortable, provided good traction and kept my feet dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started hiking again and wore these. It’s an all around great trail shoe. My feet weren’t sweaty, I had no issues with traction, up or downhills, durability was great even with the change of the terrain, and I had enough space to tighten my laces and still have breathability. I would recommend these.

I have several Columbia walking/running shoes and they are excellent. Very comfortable, waterproof and not as dorky as Hoka or Skechers. Plus priced very well.

Bought these shoes in July (3months ago) and wear them nearly every day. There are comfortable, lightweight, and offer an appropriate spring to your walking step. They keep your feet cool despite being advertised as waterproof via Outdry technology. Unfortunately, they are NOT waterproof and have validated this over multiple wet walks now. Very disappointing since all other Outdry shoes have been amazing for years. Lastly, the traction on the shoes is wearing out very quickly (<3months) and there are bare/flat spots on the treads already. Definitely would NOT recommend these shoes when there are so many other great options at Columbia.
