Got these shoes about 6 months ago to use at work since i walk through a lot of water. I dont know if its just that they arent made for everyday use but the inside cloth is ripping and the soles are giving out. Other than the durability issue, they are 100% waterproof, extremely comfortable and the traction is hood so i could see them being great hiking/running shoes but if you plan on everyday use, i would look at something else

Comfortable and good-looking

These shoes are good enough for daily use: comfortable, good-looking and waterproof, I've used it for almost every occasion since bought it about two months ago. Not for heavy walking or hiking under extreme conditions as I tested in a rainy-day hiking trip and, even I returned home with my feet still dry, I felt some pain in the heels at the end of the day.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice shoe; Shame About the Space!

Overall a nice shoe, but it didn't (barely) fit. I have been buying Columbia shoes for hiking, walking and travel almost exclusively for 10 or so years, as they almost always fit well and are comfortable. This pair suffers from being both too narrow and shallow in the toe box, resulting in pinching and pressure on my outer toes. I hope this is not a trend in Columbia's overall shoe design.

Avoid these shoes for daily walking too rigid heel

These shoes unfortunately made my Achille heels inflamed, I stopped using them to avoid Achille tendinitis. The heel collar of the shoe is too rigid, and this is the same with all low Columbia shoes models, I don't recommend this shoe for daily walk neither for running weekly, it is just good to hike once in a while in the woods when it rains cause waterproofing is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the first time I put them on, I felt like it such a natural fit that I didn't even think I had them on.

Comfortable & waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hiked Savage Alpine Trail in Denali in a pair of the shoes in May. 10% of the trail was covered by snow, and 90% was muddy. It felt very comfortable, provided good traction and kept my feet dry.

Great shoes for walking and hiking without the high cost of other brands. I have arthritis and these shoes make it easier to walk without pain.

Great Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started hiking again and wore these. It’s an all around great trail shoe. My feet weren’t sweaty, I had no issues with traction, up or downhills, durability was great even with the change of the terrain, and I had enough space to tighten my laces and still have breathability. I would recommend these.
