Waterproof not shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a pair of Columbia shoes that were very similar to these that were advertised as waterproof...not water resilient but yes waterproof. I wore them for 3 weeks and loved them and the fact that the morning dew that i walked in did not soak my sosks was great. But after 3 weeks my feet were wet. And the company said it was a warranty thing and replaced my shoes with these. They said maybe it was bad fabric or construction but these were waterproof. Well today i have wet feet again
So do i give up on Columbia???

I have purchased 6 pairs of this model in two years because they not only look great, but they work as a travel shoe, a walking shoe, a chore boot, and - of course - as a hiker. I keep one pair pristine for travel, two for hiking, two for everyday wear and one brat yup pair for chores/mowing, etc.

Good Hiking shoes overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this pair for my frequent Hiking trips. So far they feel comfortable. I have had a different hiking shoes from Columbia, which I liked better than this one. The sole seems on thinner side. These shoes have balance. Good room inside but still snug enough. They have very good traction. So far waterproof claim is holding up. I wish they had better cushioning and ankle support
