I must have a really small head because this fits me fine although it is a bit smaller than other beanies I own. Since it's reversible you can actually adjust how far down to wear it. Reversible feature is nice. Seems plenty warm to me when I wore it shoveling snow in 15 degree weather. I like it.

My head is 7-3/4" and this hat is very tight and does not cover my ears. Unlike other Columbia winter beanies which do fit nicely and function well on cold/windy days, this one is more for show and less for functionality. It is soft and well-made, so it's still a quality hat--just not for those with larger heads.
