It has an SPF rating usually not found in hats and that was very important when making my choice. It folds up for easy placement in a backpack or pocket. The fit is perfect and it looks great. The style is simple and classic. I had a favorite hat that was getting old and this replacement is the best hat I've ever owned.

This is the second Dri-Fit Columbia hat that I've purchased .I lost my previous black one I also have 2 other colours .They're very soft , comfortable and lightweight. I love the material.

Best high output hat ever - real cooling!

I have 5 of these hats and love them. They work for everyday use, but more importantly, the cooling technology actually works.
I run extremely hot and when the hat band gets damp it gets cold. For an extra boost of cold, I drip my water on the band. It’s fabulous. I could never wear hats as they cooked me, but these are different. I’m so happy I found them.
I have a very small head and the Velcro tightens at the back, without the hat looking large. The shape stays really well and the material is all very quick dry and breathable.
I wash all mine in the machine with whatever is being washed, and hang them to dry. They come out of the wash perfectly with no wear and no pilling whatsoever.
Excellent and well worth the purchase price. Being that I have 5 of these hats now, it tells the story.
