[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In preparing for our trip to Iceland’s South Coast this October, every travel guide I read stated that waterproof outerwear was ESSENTIAL for exploring waterfalls and the fall rainy season. I did lots of research and this jacket kept coming up over and over again for waterproofing - snd yes it is! We visited the Selflandfoss waterfall and we were drenched even just walking up to it from the mist - but the water just rolled off my jacket (I got the pants too) and while my face got wet, the rest of me was warm and dry!! It packs up so small. I just kept it in my backpack to have at the ready . I got a size up from my usual so I could wear warm sweater underneath
Felt pretty stylish so that was nice!

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to replace a rain jacket that was too heavy for summer use. Was looking for light, wind & rain proof jacket that could be folded into its pocket. (I wanted the features of my ancient K-Way.) This one folds into a pocket, but doesn't have the elastic belt to wear it around the waist that the K-Way had, and the lining of the pocket that forms the 'bag' of the folded jacket is made of the same material as the lining, so not terribly robust.
So not perfect, but not bad. Fits the bill for a summer walk/hike jacket, though without the belt, it will have to be carried in a backpack. Columbia, take note!

It's a rain jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fine, perfectly average jacket in terms of make. I bought Mineral Pink and it was much paler than I would've wanted and didn't like it. I'm 5'3" and 130lbs with 28" waist and 40" hips and bought a medium that I did return because it was tighter than I expected, especially if you want any layers underneath. Primarily though, I didn't realize it utilized velcro closures over the zipper, and it really made the jacket feel cheap and unnecessarily difficult to use. I had a trip I was leaving for 3 days after receiving this jacket, and I could not in good conscience take this with me and scrambled to find something else. Unfortunate, but #sweepstakes.
No, I do not recommend this product.
