Sadly, Disappointed

I loved my previous Columbia sport sandals. These new sandals are very comfortable. My disappointment arrived when I wore them on a walk. They lack support. I want a sandal that I can wear for light hiking. These are not even suitable to wear on a walk from my home. Now that I have wore them outside I cannot return them. You can wear these where you would wear flip flops. I’m sad because I already own flip flops and I can’t use these for my intended purpose.

Fit is very small. Across the foot has several straps but only one is adjustable. Very tight fit. I have skinny narrow feet and I can barely wear them. The soles and padding are super comfy.

Size seems to vary by color

I ordered both the black ones and the beige ones. Same sandal, just different colors. The black ones fit great, note that they are all black except for the brown sole and a tiny stitched logo in purple. The soft taupe ones, although the same stated size, are actually larger than the black ones. The footbed is longer and a bit wider, and because of that, the arch does not hit in quite the right spot. They are OK, but not quite as comfortable. Both say they are manufactured in Vietnam. I have to question the quality control that allows the same sandal model's size to vary across colors. I am giving the black sandal 5 stars and the taupe sandal 3 stars, which averages to 4 stars. and I have a hard time rating the sizing, given the difference between the two.
