Great rain pants with pockets!

I haven't used them in rain yet but the quality, features (pockets, zipper to knee) and fit made me decide on these ones. I'm sure they will last for years too!

Pants Look Nice on the Rack

The pants are definitely water & wind proof. However, very frustrating that there are no pockets. Also, no front or side opening to be able to slip the pants on quickly over jeans in a sudden rain shower - just a basic child-like pull-on elastic waist. Also, no side gussets at the leg hem to enable sliding pants over running shoes or hiking boots. These pants require the footwear to be removed first. The pants were intended to replace my years old Sorel waterproof pants that had all of the above mentioned practical features when outdoors. Will most definitely go back to the Sorel or other comparable brand.
