Uncomfortable and no returns after use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these online because I liked the looks. After wearing them once, I realized they were not for me. My feet were hot and my ankles hurt. This is unusual for me and then it happened again. So, I asked for a return and the company said no. Other top of the line brands give you 90 days. I will never buy shoes from Columbia again.

Fool me twice, shame on me

Do not buy these shoes if you're buying them to keep your feet dry. They are not waterproof. I can't even walk through wet grass without getting my socks and toes wet. This is my second pair of Columbia shoes that were advertised as waterproof and were not. I'm sorry, Columbia, I really like the look of your shoes, the fit and the traction when I'm walking trails, but I need a real waterproof shoe.

Great wear, short life

I loved the fit, it was definitely waterproof! Unfortunately they wore out so quick. Wore them daily for less than 6 months and they already started shredding from the inside out. However, for my work life and plantar issues they were super comfortable. Debating on getting another but the 6 month lifespan is holding me back

I really want to like these, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure about the fit. They seem very wide in the heel and tend to slip. If I lace them tighter, the top of my foot gets sore. I'm experimenting with different lacing methods and hoping they will break in. The waterproofing held up to walking through very wet grass so that was a big plus.
