UV but short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for sun protection. The sleeves work great with the thumb holes, but the length is too short to cover everywhere when one bends over. It is also a bit heavier fabric than would be comfortable during a hot day. Would be great for a sunny, cooler day.

Women's Sun Trek Hoodie II
I purchased the previous version of this hoodie and absolutely loved it, so I bought two more this year. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the updated design.
The new version is noticeably shorter, and the colors look very faded. I ordered the Lavender Pearl color, but it doesn't resemble lavender at all. When I opened the package, I honestly thought it looked like an old, washed-out cloth I use for cleaning my car.
The material is also different from what I expected and doesn't feel as comfortable or high-quality as the previous version. I was hoping for the same fit, color quality, and fabric that made me love the original hoodie.
I hope future versions bring back the longer fit, richer colors, and better-quality material.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and two other colors (white and the light green) of this shirt and have worn it in one color or another almost everyday since they arrived. They’re cooling on hot days, the fit is true to size. extremely comfortable and soft. What drew me to this shirt is the UV protection first and foremost and I’m so pleased with how they look on me too. I have three other PFG long sleeve hoodie shirts from Columbia and this style is by far my favorite!
