The colour was completely different than the picture.. I got the colour DareDevil and it was a very bright coral not red. No free returns. I paid for shipping, returned it in store and was only refunded the cost of the item.

Perfect for West Coast rainy days

I only just purchased the jacket……so far so good. It fits kinda small, so if you’re wanting to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath I would suggest getting a larger size. I bought the daredevil red so I can be seen on the trails while walking my dog. Only problem, now I have no excuse not to walk my dog in the rain.

Q: Is this a permanently waterproof jacket or does it just have a coating on it that will wear off after a few washes?

However, it's important to note that while Omni-Tech™ generally lasts for many years, the materials can deteriorate over time and with use. Proper care of your jacket is crucial to maintaining its waterproof properties. Following the recommended care instructions—such as machine washing cold, washing separately, not using bleach or fabric softener, tumble drying on low, and avoiding ironing or dry cleaning—can help extend the life of the jacket's waterproof capabilities.
