Stiff and Painful

The numerous five star reviews for these boots are "sweepstakes entry" reviews, which I was suspicious of. I should have trusted my gut. I was baffled by how many reviews claim these boots are comfortable straight out of the box--this is just not true. The ankle area of the boot is incredibly stiff, has little to no cushioning, and feels as if its going to bruise my ankle bones. These feel very cheaply made. I tried walking around the house in the boots thinking I needed to break them in, but they're too painful.
Additionally, I ordered these is 7.5 wide and they don't feel wide enough. I had to double check that I ordered wide because they still feel narrow.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I’m really happy with these hiking boots! They are comfortable, lightweight, and fit true to size. They have good traction and feel sturdy when walking on different trails. I also love the design—they look great and provide good support for my feet. Overall, these are a great pair of hiking boots for women and I would definitely recommend them!

Comfy and supportive

Wanted to wait to review until after our Pacific Northwest tour. Very comfy and supportive for the different types of hikes we did (varying from moderate to strenuous). My first hike was 6 miles, all with a significant incline or decline, and they were great. For the week, I probably put 15-17 miles on them. I wore them with thicker socks and didn’t have any issues with blistering. I did not do anything to break them in (risky, I know) & they performed great. My sister ordered the same pair in green and had a little bit of trouble with blistering. Overall, would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these 5 months ago after trying the Newton Ridge by Columbia that I returned bc they dug int my ankles. These do not. I have to wear insoles bc of my feet and got a half size I love them. I feel support around my ankle. I’m 5’2 200lbs. I already put in about 10miles. I hike at local parks with groomed paths. I have yet to be in rougher terrain. Bc I got a half size they feel/look big. I honestly don’t care I feel like I can do more walking in them. I’ve walked in wet terrain and had no issues. They do have some weight to them which didn’t bother me honestly.
