Excellent length for walks in nature when you have to bend down to look at a cool mushroom or ID a plant as it will cover you fully with no drips onto your backside. It is lightweight and the air vent along the back is much more useful than air vents in the arms like other jackets have. Depending on what soze you get for yourself, there will likely be room for a layer underneath. The colour I purchased, this dusty plum colour is fabulous against my skin and brightens my complexion on dreary days.
