No break in.

I’ve bought for my son six times. He’s a mechanic so up and down on his knees a lot. These boots are good out of the box, no break in. They don’t last as long as Cat boots, which i found had intermittent break in periods, sometimes up to a month. He gets a year out of the Dakota’s, toes wear out first, then laces, then get too oil soaked to wear anymore. We invested in good steel laces and have transferred them from one pair to another.

These boots are pretty, pretty, pretty, good, so far.
I work HVAC.
They fit true to size, I'm a size 15.
They are water proof and insulated lightly, so walking in snow and water has not been an issue. I would buy again.

Darn Great Boots

I had my last pair for 10 years and finally wore them into dust. These are darn good work boots. I hope to get another decade out of my new ones 😂

This brand steadily looses quality its products

Garbage and it's not worth this much money. Definitely not for a bush work. Used for a year and the pads at the back of the boots fell apart, not from wear and tear but the crappy quality. That is the weakest area of a boot. The inside lining eventually gets loose and come off the glued insole. Never seen this happened on any boots I had. The quality of Dakota boots definitely gets worse every year. They present each version with a different and "improved" option but, in reality, if boots are made with very low quality, the visual appeal will not last long.
No, I do not recommend this product.
