Fitted with Propac removable felt liners, these Dakota work boots are built to protect your feet in extreme cold environments. They feature our T-MAX® light and warm insulation. The boots meet CSA Grade 1 standards with steel toes and plates which are electric shock and puncture resistant. Stoppered drawcords in the topline help keep debris and moisture out and toughrubber outsoles provide sound footing on various surfaces.

Definitely recommend for -30 to -50 temp

This boots are superb given the price. So comfy inside, given a pair of wool socks, your feet will be super warm even at -40. I do concrete work and we keep walking over snow for long hours , it kept my feet totally warm . But its a bit heavy given the size it is… so maybe thats something a bit worrisome but still its the best you can get.

Warm and great for working in the snow which is why I bought them. Several of my co workers wear them and recommend them. I love how easy they are to take on & off as when I drive the forklift they're too big and bulky but great for when I'm a swamper

Q: Being a "thermal lance technition" oversized steel cutter. I am going from knee high snow to standing in a massive puddle with metal slag piles all around me. How do these handle in massive changes of environment along with being puncture resistant?

A: Hello, The boots meet CSA requirements from a drop and puncture resistance. For heat changes the PU shell could be negatively impacted by the heat off put by the metal slag piles. Would recommend a leather boot to offset that impact.
