Most comfortable boot I have ever worn.

These boots used to be from the Dunlop company but changed names. I have wide feet and these boots fit amazingly. I had 3 pairs when they were Dunlop and 2 when they were Dakota; I really hope that Dakota doesn’t kill this line of boots.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not Very Comfortable

I’ll agree with some of the other reviewers that there seems to be oddly placed seams or something in the boot that hurt my feet. I only noticed it when I tried wearing them for a length of time. It won’t show up when you just try them on. I feel like with time it might go away once worn in, but if boots aren’t comfortable when new that’s a disappointment to me. Soon enough they will be pounded out and uncomfortable for different reasons. I wouldn’t buy these again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Unfortunate same experience as other reviewer

Thought the fitment issue with the rivet digging into the ankle on the right boot mentioned by the other reviewer coulda been a fluke or just difference in bodies... But I've had the exact same issue except with the left boot instead. Disappointing considering the expense of these. Perhaps the other guy and I collaborate and have one good pair lol

Disappointed

When trying these boots on at the store I only tried on the left boot and was impressed with the weight and fit of the boot. These boots are very wide and comfortable in the toes. The disappointment came when wearing these to work the first day, the left boot is one of the best gelling boots I've had on my feet but the right boot however is very uncomfortable. There is a seem that hits right on the ankle bone and an eyelet with a sharp edge that drives into the ankle. I had to use a drill and drill out the eyelet just to be able to finish out the day with thses boots. The inconsistencies between these two boots are not excepable in my opinion especially at the price these boots are. If both boots fit like the left boot they would he excellent boots in my opinion.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Does anyone know if this boot good for winter ? Not the inside but the outside . Is it good on ice and cold weather? I tried a pair at the store it seems very comfortable but I am not sure if the rubber outsole gets hard in winter or not

A: Not terrible, but not great either. Would definitely recommend using slip-on spikes with them. They're okay without in normal snowy weather, but they won't stop you from slipping in icy conditions
