don't use them in the rain

Boots are comfortable enough once they get broken in a bit - initially they rubbed like crazy at the back of my calf. But they are shockingly bad with water. It comes in every seam including around the sole and even soaks through the leather in suprisingly little time. Understand that these are leather work boots not rubber but I've got running shoes that are more waterproof than these

They were comfy for the first few months, now after 6 months a piece of plastic in the heel is cutting my heel apart.. Junk!

No receipt

I ordered these online for pick up at my local Marks for my partner since he needed new work boots. He gets reimbursed through his work, but he needs a receipt to get his money back. I received a total of 3 emails titled "order ready for pick up/digital receipt attached" but all of the emails were blank (on my phone). When I asked the staff at the store, she said she would need to refund the boots and for me to repurchase them in order for me to get a physical copy of the receipt in store, I didn't want to put her through this hassle. I tried to open the email on my computer afterwards in case the issue was the app/my phone, and they were also blank. We reached out to customer service online and still didn't get a response. Very frustrating!!!

Terrible design

Bought this shoes last February and never worn until December 2025. My legs got bruised due to constant scratching by my high ankle shoes on very first day of use . I was wondering that what the person was thinking who designed this shoes and never worried about pading on the edges which could have prevented the painful experience. Now I am stuck with $200 shoes cause the return policy is expired on unused shoes with no options.
