The polyurethane fabric is lightweight with four-way stretch for maximum freedom of movement and flexibility, even in cold temperatures. A three-piece peaked hood delivers an improved fit and snaps off when you don't need it. Best Rain Gear

I have used many different makes of rain gear over the past 40 years . I started to use the Dakota WorkPro PU about 10 years ago and have found it the best for every job. It’s very light yet strong, a simple design but well thought out .I get one size larger for myself so I can add layers under the rain gear depending on the weather for maximum comfort.

Made the impossible possible

Went through northern Alberta by motorcycle in June. Began raining. Was 9 degrees. That and ripping the posted 110KPH speed limit with my KLIM outerwear (which is good for about an hour of this kind rain drop brutality) had me break into tears and drop into a hot soak in an Edson motel bathtub. Recovered I went searching at C.Tire with a Mark's store inside and found this in an XL size that would go over my CE gear. The hood fit under my helmet and the jacket made the next 1000K and 10 hours of on and off again rain and cold doable. It wasn't nice, but things went from impossible to achievable.

Best value work rain gear. Identical material to some higher priced brands. Not the most durable when in brush it tends to snag on branches but it is easily repairable with tuck tape.

I bought this jacket and the matching pants maybe 2-3 years ago and they lasted me quite a while doing framing carpentry in the fraser valley B.C. where it rains a lot. Didn't have leaking issues with the jacket, eventually it got ripped up fairly bad and I just recently replaced it, bought the same set. Always worked for me, comfortable, not too sweaty, waterproof, reasonable price.

Button broke after 12 days

Bought this coat to take to my camp job in the great bear rain forest. It was pretty good at first, but then we had a few crazy rain days and I found out that water will be bleed through eventually in extreme conditions. Was dissapointed but what really upset me was when the bottom button ripped out so now I cant keep it fully shut. I did like how you can tighten up the wrist to try and stop water from running down your arm when your working above your head.

The jacket button already has fallen off. Ripped apart. The jacket would have been great if the jacket closing system was a better quality. Also, Mark won’t let me return it becauSe it was defective

Extremely disappointed

I bought this jacket to replace a similar type of Carhart jacket I had lost. I was extremely happy to find it and almost excited for the first heavy rain. I became far left excited with I realized that it was leaking at absolutely every seam. I'll be returning it tomorrow.
