Denim shirt pocket smaller than last model

I believe this denim shirt must be to replace the old denim shirt 1557. Everything is almost the same but the breast pockets are to small to fit an I phone and snap it shut. I am a welder and like keeping my phone in pocket but need to be able to snap it shut to keep sparks from going inside pocket
