These men’s mid-cut athletic shoes from Dakota feature high-abrasion synthetic uppers and breathable linings to keep your feet cool and dry. The QUAD COMFORT® LITE technology offers a lightweight cushioning system for extra comfort, and our FRESHTECH® Odour protection technology for all day freshness. These shoes have removable EVA insoles when you need to wear orthotics. Rubber outsoles feature Tarantula Anti-Slip™ technology to help prevent slips and falls. With steel toes, steel plates, rubber toe and a heel guards and CSA Omega electric shock resistance, the shoes are built for safety.

Excellent pair of safety shoe

Comfortable, stylish, lightweight and perfect for light construction jobs... my third pair this year, used the first pair through the summer and did a lot of concrete pouring... that shoe got really beaten up... second pair... I used it through the summer, great to climb walls, ladders since it's so lightweight yet it holds my feet and ankle secure... the third pair is my going out, dressed up with nice cloths pair

Q: Are these suitable for winter and snow?

A: Thank you for the question. This Dakota style 5ANDDK6-3617 does have high abrasion synthetic upper and breathable lining but they do not have any insulated lining or any waterproof upper so they are not suitable to snow or winter weather. We have a Winter Safety Footwear Commodity specially for harsh winter and snow weather. Hope this helps
