Best Rain Gear

Have tried many makes over the past 40 years. I found the Dakota WorkPro PU about 10 years ago and loved it. It is strong , light and well designed. I get a size larger to fit layers under for different weather conditions and because I do a lot of bending and crouching .

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pro Gardener recommends these

These are surprisingly durable. I work outdoors year round and can sit on a wet tractor seat without it leaking through in these rain pants. The fabric is very flexible and doesn't crack. Relatively breathable too. My last pair lasted two years before I shredded the bottom of one leg on a shovel. Highly recommend!
ProsEasy Care, Fits Well, Durable, Good Value, Comfortable

Perfect for work, just slightly too short!

I am a veterinarian and use these for work - I love them. They are extremely waterproof and comfortable. Only down side is I am a woman who is 5'9" (I wear a size small) and therefore they are slightly too short. But I just put my boots underneath and I don't even notice the length.
ProsEasy Care, Durable, Comfortable
FitFits small

Yes, I recommend this product.

Works for me

Bought these pants and the matching jacket maybe 2-3 years ago and used them quite often, as I live in a rainy area and work outside doing framing carpentry. They held together up until recently, had quite a few tears and holes from work but they were still doing the job well enough for me. One thing I noticed was about 6" around my knees would usually be damp, probably from kneeling on the ground. Always worked for me and I just bought my second set the other day, comfortable, rainproof, not too sweaty, good price.

Comfortable but don't last!

Very comfortable but don't they don't last. I've had my pants for about a year and a half and I don't use them very often. They aren't waterproof anymore and are getting worse every time I use them. My pants underneath are soaking wet after. I asked about warranty and was told that there's only a 3 month warranty. Not too happy.

Not worth the money

I used them for one shift at work on a drilling rig and they ripped in the crotch area. Not durable material and for the price I feel ripped off…
