It has a PU coating to repel water and it features our T-MAX® SPHERE technology which is a lightweight, water-resistant and warm down alternative. Love this parka, so much that, having used work wear for decades now, and the poor quality of regular clothing now a days, I wear work clothes for everyday use without being on the job, and this parka is one of them. Having done a lot of homework to find a reasonable parka, I have settled for this.
My employer has been using marks for work wear and I have come to value the Mark's brand.
Love all the pockets light and water repellent, perfect length , I am 5.11, 165 lbs. medium is perfect
Removable hood is a plus, coat is not baggy ,fits well and can still layer.
Love all the attention to detail , i.e. expandable pockets, attachments on the zippers....... e.t.c.
Have not found another major work wear brand with a long parka as this one.

Very happy with this coat. Great for working in the garage or outside during the winter, it's very warm. The added length of the coat, the neck and the hood add warmth as well. We waited for this coat to go on sale and because it is so new my husband wears it when we are out. Eventually it will only be a work coat but for now it doesn't look like a work coat at all. My husband said the coat is comfortable and warm and a good fit for his medium size. He especially likes that he can pull up the zipper from the bottom when he is driving. I also like the look of the coat when he wears it and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Fairly solid construction, fairly durable. Not too warm, but I wear allot of layers under it. Lots of pockets , double main zipper (a little finicky to use at first) that keeps the zipper from separating when you bend over. Great side zippers! Easy access to tool belts, wallet, phone….

Bad zipper

Zippr is terrible. The jacket is very warm fits nice. Comfortable feels durable buthe the zipper gets stuck so much, gets messed up, un-aligned, and takes a lot of effort to zip up. Because of the cheap zipper i dont recommend the jacket. Its so hard and takes too long, especially with cold hands

A: Thank you for your question. Style 1AAGDWS-TSPL01/X T-max Sphere parka The variety of cold weather temperatures can feel very different to each person. It depends on type of work, the environmental conditions (windchill, humidity), metabolism, type of layering and many other factors. This jacket is made with T-MAX SPHERE insulation which has the same superior temperature regulation and water resistance of our traditional T-MAX insulation, but with a loft, resiliency and weight comparable to down. This makes the jacket heavy weight insulation. Shell fabric is PU (polyurethane) coated which does help in water repellency in very light rain and snow. Hope this helps
