Comfortable, didn’t take anytime to break them in, they are nice stylish, breathable, work construction (carpentry) on my feet all day everyday. They didn’t last long though I bought at the end of April and they are now falling apart. Wouldn’t recommend

I used these boots for 1 1/2 years on a farm for several hours a day 5 days a week in all conditions, including rain, mud, ice, heavy snow, uneven terrain, etc, working with livestock. Ultimately, about a year in, the sole of my right boot began falling off and continued to deteriorate, and 6 months later I could not use them anymore. Pros: - This boot is very lightweight, I feel like I could run a marathon in them. They put a lot of pep in my step - they don’t weigh down the wearer at all, but actually make you feel very light and sure footed moreso than you would barefoot or in other footwear. - Comfortable to wear for a few hours at a time (given that they have been broken in) Cons: -Advertised as waterproof, but has a fabric tongue (it’s also not gussetted). The nubuck leather outer may be “waterproof”, but you will actually only be able to step in puddles 2 inches deep before water begins to into your boots through the fabric tongue, making them unsuitable for a lot of conditions. Especially bad in wet winters. - The glued soles do not hold up, especially in outdoor environments. If you are working in an outdoor environment, stitched soles are an absolute must. - The tongue’s stitching on the inside of the boot does not have any padding and will rub uncomfortably against the wearer’s feet, even through thick, heavyweight wool socks, I have found. I would not recommend these boots to those working in outdoor environments at all. It is better to invest a bit more money into boots with stitched soles and actual waterproofing technology, that will at least not have the soles peeling off after a year. I put them through a lot of hard work and abuse, and ultimately got my money’s worth due to that, but there is no sense in spending $180+ every year for boots that fall apart after 12 or so months, so I will not be purchasing them again. *Sole damage + non-padded tongue stitching on the inside of the boot pictured.

Love these boots as a dressier, more streamlined boot when I have to do time in the office before heading back to the field.
