The sizing with a 28" leg is the primary reason for purchasing this specific item.
The flexible material is a benefit, though I find the fabric usually develops holes within 6 months especially if it is worn damp or wet. If the exact same pattern was available in 36" waist and 28" leg with a black or charcoal denim, that would be ideal.

Q: Why does the description have to be confusing? Just say if the product sits AT, ABOVE, or BELOW the waist. Makes life easy.

- A: Our Denver Hayes Relaxed Taper sits at the waist. We do have great signage in store to indicate this, but I agree it's tougher online! Under specifications you will see "Rise": Low Rise = Sits below the Waist Mid/Reg Rise = Sits at the Waist High Rise = Sits above the Waist Hope that helps!2 years agoHelpful?

- A: Thank you for your question. These jeans are considered a "higher rise" jean compared to our regular straight and athletic styles. Our lowest rise would be in our Athletic fit, where the jean sits below the waist, but this jean also has a looser hip and thigh fit. The regular Straight fit would be next where the jean will sit just below your waistline, with a straight fit from the knee to bottom opening hem.
