    THEY'RE ALRIGHT

I don't give out stars like candy, like some sycophants, but neither am I extreme either (one star for a sole that's too hard... wow). The fact that I'm giving a three is generous, since they only lasted two years, primarily the colder months, but... they're pretty cheap: you get what you pay for. These are my second pair. First pair wore down on the soles, my current left boot broke apart in the rear, from the upper attached to the midsole, as well as holes and collapsed sections of the sole. And why have such soft shoelaces when you're dealing with upper ankle hooks?! Sharp, metal edges tear at the laces. It looks like there are no longer upper hooks, a slight change to the style as well, and also a different tread (terrible looking), but it looks more dense compared to past models. But an entire separation of upper from midsole is a new one for me... ever. In any shoe/boot. But the price. If I can't afford more expensive casual boots then these are my go to. And since the uppers aren't sewn to the sole, the stitches are faux, you eventually have to throw them away... no cobbler for these. And being so cheap it wouldn't be worth it even if you could. Even epoxy couldn't hold mine together for long since the tear is in a high-stress region... and the leather upper is cheap. So, that's it. Inexpensive, don't last very long, but they look alright, especially with tapered pants/jeans, and I get quite a few compliments regarding them, especially from women; I'm on here purchasing a new pair. But they could, should, last longer, even if Mark's charged $15.00 more to make a more robust boot. But it's still doing better than some of its cousins on here, judging from other comments. However, it's environmentally immature of me. That's why I usually spend more for higher-end items: they last longer, they look better, you look after them more, and you can repair/resole good-quality footwear when need be. But currently times are tight for me so it's Plan B.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Good boot but had one flaw

The boot is comfortable and professional. However the tag at the back of each shoe broke when i held it to slip on the shoe. I needed to keep using the shoe for the week so did not return it, but instead glued them back down. Good boot, but unfortunately had a flaw that was manageable.
