Good for show, bad for noise

Bought these in a pinch. Needed a decent looking, leather dress shoe. These are comfortable shoes. The leather is rugged and doesn’t scratch or tarnish much. The laces are ok. The issue? The blue sole makes a scrunchy sound on different floorings. People know you’re walking in the area well before they see you. Brought them to a cobbler, had the sole removed, and the new sole won’t adhere to the blue material. Well, it does, but I’ve had them repaired twice now.
No, I do not recommend this product.
