While it can tolerate some moisture, continuous dampness can weaken the fibers and lead to mold or mildew. It's best to dry seagrass products immediately after exposure to water. Prolonged dampness can weaken the seagrass fibers, making them more prone to breakage. Mold and mildew can also develop if seagrass is left damp for too long. If seagrass gets wet, it's best to dry it out as quickly as possible, ideally in direct sunlight. To prevent damage from spills and stains, consider applying a protective spray or wax to the seagrass product
