Denver Hayes boots comfortable to wear

Buy one size lower because they are built a half-size too large. Normally I'm comfortable with 8.5 size so I ordered a size 8 and found they are still a tad too large, but no matter. Boots are built way and my intention is to wear them in the office because I've noticed this trend with many women wearing chunky boots to work. If I wear them too long, I've noticed that they squeak when you walk. It's the leather uppers rubbing up against the pleather, so now I only wear them for half the day. Apparently it's best if you switch you your footwear part way through the day. Price was excellent.

Cute, but runs about a 1/2 size too big. Couldn't get a half or full size down (reg 7 would have needed a 6.5 or 6) anywhere near me so I just had to lace it tighter. It almost feels insulated because it doesn't breathe - it is going to be great for winter but for fall they are a bit too warm. Laces are also VERY long.
