Winter walking made safe

These cleats provide a solid footing on slippery surfaces, even glare ice. Metal cleats and chain have not rusted. Rubber fitting that holds the cleats in place is heavy duty, very stretchy to pull over boots and is very secure.

My first crampons

Small size crampons (meant for 5-8 shoe sizes) fit my size 6 winter boots perfectly. I can see it being a bit tight for a size 8 shoe. Used it on sidewalk after freezing rain and it did it's job very well. There was never a moment when I felt unsteady and it was a long walk. I got this on sale and it is very good value for money.

The ice cleats worked well on our snowy hike at Dog Mountain on Mt Seymour in North Vancouver. Easy to put on. The medium size fit my ladies size 9 boots perfectly.

These are the bomb!

Throw away those silly round cleats and get these ice cleats. I walk my dogs twice a day no matter the weather, often on thick ice in the winter and these really dig in and do the job. I can walk with confidence. Easy to slip on and off. If you are worried about slipping and falling, I urge you to get a pair. Like winter tires for your feet, LOL.
