The Arctic Patrol battles extreme conditions for you; cold-weather is no match with the 600g of Primaloft insulation, a removable Felt sock liner with a faux Shearling top, and an aluminum shield blocker below the foot to block the cold. A protective rubber shell, and a coated textile upper with sealed seams will keep moisture out, and allow your feet to be warm and comfortable during the harshest winter conditions.

Lighter than the Sorels and I haven’t had the rubber cracking issue i had with my last three pairs of Sorels that caused leaks. My only issue is that I find the cuff to be a bit high on the calf

Very pleased with my new winter boots. I've been looking for a pair without all kinds of bright logos and these fit the bill. The heel shape is perfect, no slipping so your socks stay up rather than bunching down. Went snowshoeing for 2 hours the first day and they are light, warm and comfortable. Good grip while pushing the snowblower. Sizing is small so be sure to order one size up.

These boots are exactly what I had hoped for and more! I spend a considerable amount of time outdoors and require warm, comfortable waterproof boots, and these are perfect for me and these are the reasons why…
1) I walk my Bernese Mountain Dog numerous times daily, even in the worst of winter conditions, so I wanted something I could slide in and out of easily, which these boots allow;
2) Some boot treads are so wide they are awkward when driving (due to spacing between the gas and brake pedals); however, these boots have a comfortable width and I have no worries whatsoever;
3) They provide exceptional traction on snow and ice;
4) They snap nicely into my snowshoes; and
5) The top of the boots taper perfectly to fit underneath my snow pants.
The only critical comment I have is I was originally disappointed that half-sizes were not available so I ordered larger, which ended up being a good thing because the boots fit snug until the liner broke in after a day or so.

A: Hello - Helly Hansen does not provide a winter rating but does recommend this style for colder temperatures.
