Not a proper safety boot for hot work

I have been a welder for almost 20 years. I have owned a lot of boots in this time, but never in my career have I burned my toes until now. To make matters worse, I am a foreman, not a production worker. Last night 2 of my toes were burned severely because the stitching on these boots melted away, and somehow the falling puddle ended up under my toes. I almost want to sue them for making such an unsafe “safety boot”.
Avoid this if your work around hot things. A warning should have been attached, but these synthetic nightmares want to act like a roughneck man’s boot, while being only suitable for warehouse workers.
No, I do not recommend this product.
