I work In a train yard in the summer. These boots worked out great for that. They are super light weight, very comfortable, they are true to size... and my feet never got to hot... However when summer turned to fall and dirt turned to mud and wetness... I would say these boots were not suitable. Feet got soaked, mudstuck to them like glue... Overall boots+any type of moisture, or low temperature =unhappy feet (soggy, wet, cold, not the best grip)
So know your terrain, know your season and know how long those will be... If your needing them to last through more than one season wouldn't recommend... If it's the same season a couple of years in a row. I would recommend... Overall I'm quite content with these boots as long as it is with in the realm of their capability.... Which is kinda small...
