The socks are high quality, soft, they are comfy but they are gigantic. They are basically a winter boot shaped into a sock. My shoe size is Mens US 11 and I wouldn't consider my foot narrow but these are very wide, they fit fine on the leg, tight enough but like triple the width of a normal sock my size, kinda loose in the foot. I like them still so I am keeping them just to throw on during chilly days at home but they are HUGE. I don't think I would ever wear them in any boot I own. I'd probably be able to squeeze into my gf's tall Hunter rain boots if anything but maybe they compress when squeezed I dunno. 4/5.
