The belt has a good amount of stretch. When couching down a lot during the day the stretch is needed. I have no problem with the buckle catching and in clamping. Also the back of the buckle has a bottle opener on it.

very nice belt. premium quality as expected from HH. It's got a very nice elasticity to it, yet very firm. The shackle is of the highest quality. Excellent belt...it'll support you for a very long time!

Guess people haven't heard of scissors

Haven't used the belt yet, but felt inclined to write instructions after seeing others say it is too long for their waist. Smh
Here's a step by step guide.
1. Turn buckle over and pry open latch that fastens belt to buckle. (A flathead or other rigid object will do the trick.) Now you can adjust the length of the belt.
2. Wrap belt around waist, adjust to desired length, close latch on backside of buckle. (Alternatively, measure your desired length of belt)
3. CUT excess with scissors or cutting tool of choice, or don't. I don't care, the belt doesn't care. Chew the fabric if you want, the world is yours
4. YAY, YOU DID IT!!!! Admire your perfectly fitted belt
