I'm a Tradesman in an industrial trade so i pretty much live in work boots. The es not too many brands i haven't tried ans i can say confidently that these are absolutely the most uncomfortable boots I've ever wasted money on!! the metguard plate is flat and does not form the foot so because the top of the foot is arched the plate presses against a small strip at the highest part of the arch and makes it feel like your foot is in a vice. its excruciating i hobbled through a couple 12hr shifts hoping that it was just a bad break in period but your absolutely unable to wear the boot for any long period of time, i tried putting the metguard plate in a vice to give it some kind of a bend but it did nothing. Sooo long story short i wasted almost 400$ on boots that are unwearable. Save your time and money and DO NOT buy these, Helly Hansen dropped the ball on these and as far as I'm concerned should recall them

I wore this is the hot weather doing masonry work mortar mud and grout all over em wore them roofing aswell they have never let me down warm feet just got to break em in for full comfort

Most resilience work boots so far.

I am a hard working iron worker and care little for taking care of my boots. Most of my boots have barely survived 2 months. Often by the third month I am putting myself at risk to continue using them. This pair lasted me longer than 6 months, they've even outlived heavy duty Red Wings at $100 more! For a pair of boots to survive two to three times as long as any other pair gets my respect, even though I don't respect my boots while I'm doing my job. LOL. These Boots are not as comfortable as most Helly Hansen boots, but they are very heavy duty and stand up to ridiculous punishment.
