very durable and comfortable

I'm going to be getting my third pair of these shoes. I get two full years out of a pair with quite demanding conditions. The first thing to break on them is the laces, and then the two fabric lace holders - which isn't the biggest deal.
They are very comfortable for long days (I always use insoles also) as they fit well and are lightweight - and are awesome at keeping your feet dry even for prolonged wet conditions. One drawback is that they do make your feet hot when it's hot outside due to their waterproofing.

First time buying Helly Hansen

This is the second time buying this shoe. I found it comfortable right out of the box - no real break in time. The hard rubber soles really hold up to long days on your feet. The leather is nice and soft and being waterproof is amazing. The only thing I wish is that they offered a wider width.

Great shoe but not for my use

Well made, comfortable and lightweight. The only issue that I am having with them is that they are super hot. I imagine this is due to the waterproof feature that I really don't need. I would probably go back to my vented Merrells for my next pair.
